About Francine Ronis, LPC
I
have been a therapist in the Northern Virginia area for 7 years,
specializing in child and family therapy. For the ten years prior, I
was a teacher, preschool director, child advocate and consultant. I
have Master’s Degrees in Counseling, and Early Childhood Education, and
a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I am licensed by the Commonwealth
of Virginia, Board of Counseling.
My
unique approach to counseling adults includes relationship work that
facilitates healing of old wounds that resurface in adulthood and
practical real-life skills to enhance your daily life.
When
working with children, I use a model that includes the family to
facilitate behavioral and emotional changes and enrich the childhood
and family experience.
I
specialize in working with individuals and families that want to enrich
their relationships, experience more joy, connection, and intimacy;
and heal old wounds that block their ability to live fully in the
present.
I am a parent coach, helping
biological and adoptive parents create the family environment where
children and parents can thrive. I coach parents on Mindful Parenting,
Positive Discipline, Meditation, and Attachment Parenting.
